iOS 11 Bug Silences the Alarm on iPhone 7 and Later Models

As per a report from Deccan Chronicles, a new bug has been spotted in iOS 11 which automatically switches the alarm to silent mode on the iPhone 7 and models released after it.

Affected users have reported that even though the alarm triggers at the scheduled time, the device remains in a muted state. The problem persists while setting an alarm normally as well as in 'Bedtime' mode, however, only a small section of users are affected by the issue.

Apple is yet to acknowledge the problem and roll out an update to fix the bug, but a few users have reported that restoring their iPhone resolves the issue.
